Canvas Northeastern is the online student portal for all Northeastern students. Login to gain access to your MyNortheastern account, view your grades and transcripts, register for classes, apply for financial aid, and more.
Create an Account
If you are looking to create an account with Canvas Northeastern, please follow these simple steps:
1. Log in to your MyNortheastern account.
2. Click on the My Account link at the top of any page on Canvas Northeastern.
3. On the My Account page, click on the Login link in the upper right-hand corner.
4. Enter your email address and password into the form, and click on the Sign In button.
5. If you have not already created a username and password for logging in to Canvas Northeastern online, do so now by clicking on the User Name link in the header above your login information and entering your desired username and password into the appropriate fields.
Log In
To log in to Canvas Northeastern, you will need your NetID and password. Your NetID is the unique identification number that you were assigned when you registered for Canvas Northeastern. Your password is the last four characters of your NetID. To log in, click on the “Login” link on the home page. Enter your NetID and password into the appropriate fields, and click on the “Log In” button. You will now be logged in to Canvas Northeastern!

Change Your Password
If you have not done so already, please change your Northeastern login password. If you have forgotten your Northeastern login password, please follow these steps to create a new password:
1. Log in to your Northeastern account at https://portal.neu.edu/login/.
2. Click the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the right side of the page.
3. Enter your email address and click the “Create New Password” button.
4. Type in a new password and confirm it.
5. Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page to finish setting up your new password.
Manage Your Account
If you are a Northeastern student and have an email address, log in to your Canvas account to manage your course progress, grades, and other important information. You can also access your MyNortheastern page to schedule exams, view your transcripts, and more. If you don’t have an email address or if you’re not a Northeastern student, visit the website for instructions on how to create a Canvas account.
Reset Your Password
Reset your password if you have forgotten it. To reset your password, follow these steps: Log in to Canvas Northeastern using your username and password. Click on the My Account link in the header of the site. Under “My Account,” click on the Change Password link. Enter your old password in the New Password field and type a new secure password in the Confirm New Password field. Click on the Save Changes button.

Delete Your Account
If you have created an online account with Northeastern, you can delete your account by following these steps:
1. Log in to your Northeastern account using the email and password that you used to create the account. If you don’t remember your login information, click “Forgot Your Password?” on the login screen.
2. Click “My Account.” If you don’t see this menu item, click “Settings” on the main navigation bar and then click “My Account.”
3. On the My Account page, under “Account Details,” click “Delete My Account.”
4. Confirm that you want to delete your account by clicking OK.
When you delete your Northeastern online account, all of your data – including content that you have submitted or published, courses that you have taken, and contact information – will be permanently deleted. To protect your privacy, Northeastern will not keep copies of any of this data after your account is deleted.
View Your Account Information
If you have an account with Canvas Northeastern, you can view your account information by clicking on the “My Account” link in the main navigation bar or by clicking on the “Account Info” tab on the left side of this page.
You will see a list of all of your current courses, grades, and credits. You will also be able to access your transcript and student profile. Please note that if you have registered for more than one course at Northeastern, you will need to login separately for each course.
If you need to make changes to your account information or password, please click on the “Forgot Password?” link next to the “Login” button and enter your email address into the form. We will send you an email notification asking you to reset your password. If you do not receive this email notification, please contact us at studentservices@canvas-northeastern.edu.
