Today, we’re going to be taking a look at traffic analytics on 19fortyfive.com. We want to see how our content is performing and where our readers are coming from. Methodology: To do this, we used the Kissmetrics platform. This allowed us to track all of the traffic that came to our website and analyzed it by source (direct, search engines, social media, and email). We also looked at which articles were getting the most reader engagement and found out which ones drove the most traffic to our website. Results: We were really surprised by some of the results.

For example, we found that article #6 (on learning how to create a killer email list) was attracting a lot of traffic from social media sources. This wasn’t surprising, as it’s a great article that dives deep into the topic. However, it was interesting to see that it was also driving a lot of direct traffic as well. This suggests that there are a lot of people reading and learning from our content who don’t necessarily share it through social media or any other channels.
